1960s Goya G-10

1960s Goya G-10

What folksinger in the1960s didn’t have a Goya classical guitar? Just about none, that’s who. These were beautiful instruments with all-solid wood construction, made in Sweden and imported into the US starting in the late 1950s. They took the market by storm, and deservedly so. They were equal to Guilds in quality, and better than anything else made in the US except possibly Martin. With its solid birch backs and sides, solid European spruce tops and rosewood fingerboards and bridges, they were somehow able to be sold for less than the competition and were well worth it. This particular one came out of someone’s 1960s closet and will go on to make someone else quite happy, for less than a Chinese copy costs today. It is in excellent condition, no cracks or repairs, has a gorgeous clear tone and lots of it, and a great action despite a very slight bow in the neck. Take this beauty home and either relive your youth or start a new one. Comes with its original case and original Goya serial-numbered warranty card. Offered as is for only $295 w/ossc
