1968 Gibson Country Western with DeArmond
A classic, from classic times. A Gibson Country-Western from the late 1960s, Summer of Love or Decade of Buck Owens, depending on how one wants to look at it. The traditional cool, natural finish Gibson of choice for so many. In wonderful shape with all its original stuff: finish, bridge, nut and saddle, frets in fantastic condition, and a terrific bonus: a DeArmond soundhole pickup, the powerful, clean-sounding kind, thoughtfully installed by a previous owner complete with easily accessible jack. This guitar surely does have the tone too, that incomparable acoustic compression that we heard on so many recordings of the day. Can’t find a better one. Be happy. w.ossc
