1954  Fender Champ Lap Steel

Here we go with another wonderful early Fender Champion lap steel with a serial number that appears to date from 1954. They were made with these particular features only from 1952 to 1955, and all of them seem to have numbers clustered around '54, but regardless: Pearloid body covering in that nice aged yellow; fabulous fat-sounding original Telecaster pickup; all other parts original too, including those great domed control knobs and right down to its original case. Original Kluson tuners too, with buttons replaced as they always are from back then. Very hot stuff.
