Specially built for us, and stunning, as Collings guitars always are. Essentially a Collings version of the 1930's Martin 0-17, but with typical Collings precision in all departments: tonal clarity, crisp playability, and of course gorgeously clean construction throughout. Mahogany top, back and sides with gloss lacquer finish throughout; ebony fingerboard and bridge; bone nut and saddle; Waverly tuning machines; and a perfect little OM-style pickguard of tortoiseshell-type material with matching tortoise bindings on the body. Perfect.
