Ome Grand Artist Mogul Jazz Tenor
This one-of-a-kind banjo, our Grand Artist "Mogul" tenor, celebrates the Jazz Age of the 1920s. Crafted with meticulous detail by Ome in Boulder, Colorado, this tenor features hand-worked mother-of-pearl and Abalone inlays and hand-engraved solid brass hardware plated with 24K gold. It is made of rare Indian rosewood with ebony overlays. It also has abalone purfling on neck, rim and resonator; Florentine influenced resonator inlays; carved heel; hand-sanded and buffed lacquer finish; and ebony back-strap on the peghead. Central to the sound of this modern instrument is Ome's hardware: our Silverspun tone ring; two-piece brass flange; Harp tailpiece and our double rim-rod construction. With 19 frets, a scale length of 22.125", nut width of 1.22" and a traditional Jazz tenor setup, this Mogul feels fast, has wonderful punch and playability up the neck, and packs a powerful, clear tone. Comes with a deluxe hard-shell case and lifetime warranty to the original owner.
