Epiphone Olympic 1962
Epiphone Olympic 1962
Oh so light and oh so cool, the Epiphone Olympic, made in the original Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan right in the heart of Gibson's everything. A hot hot pair of single-coil Gibson pickups; solid mahogany body and neck; and a slick Brazilian rosewood fingerboard round out the package but wait, there's more! It’s got that terrific neck shape that only Gibsons from a very teeny time period in the very early 1960s have, that slightly shallower contour around the back that feels so smooth in the hand. Some mild fret wear in the first position; original Kluson tuners, buttons thankfully replaced; one very light coat of overspray, took me forever to prove it and you won't see it and you won't hear it. And it's even got its original chipboard case! Woo hoo! $1995 w/ossc
