Gibson Melody Maker 1962

The early 1960s, so prolific for great American electric guitars but so few remaining in wonderful condition after more than sixty years of well, good-time hard use. Except for this one, which looks and is so great in every way. Neat as you'd hope for, showing just the right amount of playing, just the right few nicks and dings here and there so you know it's been nicely played, a wee bit of fret wear in the very first position only, and the perfect fine finish checking overall to let you know it's definitely the real deal in every way. And that neck shape!  The very-very-early-1960s-only contour, shallower around the back, that don’t exist nowhere else. Super comfy! Just gone over from head to toe by us right here in our shop, ready to rock, plays like a dream. Nice light weight too so go for it and don't stop. Got its original brown Gibson chipboard case and two owners only ever, its original one and the person who just discovered it hiding somewhere and brought it to me to sell. Way cool. $1895 w/ossc
