Martin 000-18 1969

The Martin 000-18, favorite of everyone who ever picked one up and played it, and played it, and played it. Just the right size, so comfy to hold and sit with, so light-weight, perfect scale length so's you don't hafta stretch with your left hand and a whole lot of clean, clear, balanced tone from the genuine mahogany back and sides and Sitka spruce top. What's not to love? This one, from the late-1960s, era of so much more love and some truly great Martin guitars, to me from the family of its original owner and it’s completely and totally ready for the next chapter of its journey. Some minor undetectable repair with finish work to the lower bout of one side and two top crack repairs, all so solidly done by the good people at Martin quite some time ago and I’ll stake my reputation on who did it, it's that good and dang, it's hard to find. Action perfect as just gone over by us; original genuine ivory nut and saddle and Grover Slimline tuning machines all there too. And that original hard shell case, that you had to pay Martin extra for back then. Says something special right there. $3495 w/ohsc
